VENTURA FARMS BOULDER LIGHTSHOW, WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA

A modern day Stonehenge created by David Murdoch, the owner of Dole fruits. We partnered with inventor Clay Alexander and his company Journee Lighting to install a masterpiece lighting package and then we partnered with a Disney entertainment programmer who programmed a special light show that no-one knows exists. The light show plays in rhythm to Frank Sinatra's - I'm in New York, and to Lana Del Rey's - Red Dress among a few other songs. The produced lightshow is based on a set of magestic stones that were transferred to Westlake Village from a dry lake, part of the Kwai River in Thailand. The stones have a special story behind them - "The boulders, in their different stages of marble, granite and onyx were expelled from the heated interior of the Earth billions of years ago, cast up in a semi liquid state and forced to the Earth’s surface, much like bubbling oatmeal, the boulders fell back down into the water to the sandy bottom of the River Kwai where they solidified. The bubbles and particles of sand can still be seen on many of the boulders where they once rested on the sandy floor of the riverbed. The smooth surfaces and unique shapes and holes were formed by the sharp particles of sand that flowed against them for thousands of years, polishing their surface and sculpting the fantastic shapes, in one of the fastest moving rivers in the world."

The story of this project is very unique, rare, and has up until now remained partly a secret. This is a special project that we are proud to have been part of. Mr. Murdock invested over $600mm in this project.
